Opening of the Disc Golf 9-hole course!
Disc Golf course opens!
PACE of Hull and East Yorkshire Mind and Time to Change are very happy to announce the opening of their new community 9-hole disc golf course. Christian Sansam of PACE has been delighted with the way the project has progressed and is very excited to get playing!
Christian adds “I have to thank Hornsea Town Council for their support and enthusiasm and also many thanks to Angus and Jean Robinson for their excellent advice and guidance. Working with the people of Hornsea has been a pleasure and I hope to see many of them out in the park this summer!”
The course opens SUNDAY 30th AUGUST and a friendly community tournament starts at around 12pm. Along with the Simon Murden skateboard competition taking place on the skatepark at the same time, it is looking like quite an eventful day planned for the August bank holiday.
All are welcome to play in both events, simply turn up and register in the park. Please contact Christian Sansam for further information for either event.
