Feel the Fear course for men!
This special Feel the Fear course has been organised as part of the nationwide initiative to help men ‘Get it off their chests’!

MindWorks Stress Management in the Workplace for men!
Even though men and women experience mental health problems in roughly equal numbers, men are much less likely to be diagnosed and treated for it. One in three men with depression and anxiety feels embarrassed about asking for help.
MindWorks are celebrating Mind Week by offering all male delegates a special £60 rate for the one day Stress Management in the Workplace training course on 14th May 2009.

Mental Health and Wellbeing Day
Hull and East Yorkshire Mind Day Services are planning a mental health and wellbeing day for Mental Health Week on Friday 15th May from 12 – 4, venue to be confirmed.
The team are focusing on the link between a healthy lifestyle and good mental health, encouraging people to try new healthy foods, try exercise and stop smoking.
Day Services are hoping to involve the Health Trainers who will bring a bicycle smoothie maker, yes a bicycle smoothie maker (!), stop smoking information, carbon monoxide monitor etc.
The Why Weight Team should also be coming along and promote their service whilst doing some demonstrations. When the arrangements are confirmed the team will email all staff with details.
