Employment Adviser, IAPT
37 hrs per week
Based in Scunthorpe Post Ref 10.10
Salary £19,432-21,314 dependent on experience
Are you a good team player as well as confident to work under your own initiative?
Could you provide support to individuals with mild to moderate mental health problems struggling to cope at work?
Could you keep and encourage lines of communication between employer and employee during sickness absence from work?
Knowledge and understanding of supporting individuals and employers through a phased return back to work process?
Assist individuals to find solutions to specific work related problems?
Able to motivate, communicate with and influence people at all levels and feel confident to promote the IAPT service as well as other Mind Projects to GPs, Community Mental Health Teams, Employers and other support agencies in the North Lincolnshire region.
Do you have experience of one to one casework, file management and monthly reporting?
Have a basic knowledge of working with EXCEL spreadsheets & creating files using Microsoft Office including PowerPoint.
Do you have access to your own vehicle and are confident travelling extensively throughout the North Yorkshire and South Humber regions as appropriate?

We require a self motivated individual who has experience of working with individuals, groups and volunteers within a modernising mental health setting. A strong commitment to service user involvement, excellent communication and decision making skills are also required. Access to own transport is desirable.
